Carol Geithner graduated summa cum laude from Anne Arundel Community College with an Associates of Applied Science degree in Therapeutic Massage. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Maryland and has been practicing medical and wellness massage in the Arnold area since 2017. Carol, along with her husband and three children, has lived in Arnold since 1991. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, martial arts, gardening, and tending to her small flock of chickens and ducks.
In the hustle and bustle of today's busy and stressful world, we often focus so much on work and taking care of others that we forget to take care of ourselves. Carol’s philosophy is that receiving a regular massage can provide physical, mental, and emotional benefits that help relax the body, facilitate pain relief, decrease stress and anxiety, and increase a sense of physical and mental well being. She believes that self-care is not only a luxury but also a necessity!
Carol’s goal is to provide a healthful, restorative and rejuvenating therapeutic massage utilizing a variety of massage modalities including Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, and various stretching techniques designed to target specific muscles and areas of concern. She firmly believes it is important for clients to take an active role in maintaining their health and wellness, and will provide education and information on at-home care techniques they can utilize to help increase and prolong the benefits of treatment.
